Women's Ministry

A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. 
- Proverbs 31:30
We believe that a Christian woman should be strong in her prayer life, strong in study of Gods word, strong in their relationship with the family and strong in the love for others.

​As Paul says in Titus 2 : 3-5:
Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”  
Mission:

The Women's ministry at Ebenezer Christian Assembly is to uphold, encourage and challenge our women in their daily walk as disciples of Jesus Christ.

It is our heart to reach the world for Christ through praying, sending, giving and sharing the hope of God's redeeming love through His son the Lord Jesus Christ. The world promises freedom for women, "be liberated," but God promises, in me you will have the abundant life. We are to pattern our lives not after the world, but after the Word of God.

The purpose of each meeting is to glorify God’s name and pray and work for the extension of Heavenly Kingdom. We encourage each other and pray for all of the people to lead a victorious Christian life and daily preparing ourselves for the eternal life.
Vision:

Our vision is to see each woman build a close, intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow to maturity in her faith and reproduce that relationship in the lives of others.
Goals:
  • ​Encourage spiritual growth and renewal among women in the church.
  • Support and Pray for each other to live Christ centered lives and passionately serve Jesus Christ
  • Encourage bonds of friendship between women for support in spiritual growth, relationships, marriages, work and personal needs.
  • Women’s ministry has strong intercessory prayer for the individuals, families and communities for their various needs.

We have Women's Ministry meetings, every third Saturday of the month from 6:30 PM.

  • Outreach ministries like meeting women in the community, helping out by counseling, evangelism.
  • Annual women’s conference.
  • Financial support for the disadvantaged women and their families in India.
  • Easter Bake off programme to bake cookies for the prisoners through Prison fellowship Australia.
